Visit A biodiversity and environment internship in Costa Rica, which I was lucky enough to be able to carry out for a period of two months, was a very enriching experience from both a professional and human point of view. Having studied environmental studies for 3 years, I needed some professional experience to complete my curriculum. So I enrolled in Costa Rica, for its incredible biodiversity and unique geography. Today, I'm delighted to have been able to work with competent environmental professionals, patient people and teachers.
What's more, I've met some wonderful volunteers from the 4 corners of the world, with an open mind that knows no bounds. This gave me a wider social network. I highly recommend this volunteer program to people who are passionate about the environment, who aren't afraid of hard work and who want to discover new horizons.
My best memory is of the family of howler monkeys who came to visit us 4 days in a row. But also meeting our only neighbors at the camp. For me, meeting this culture was one of the most beautiful human memories of my life: incredible people with unquestionable kindness. There are so many other beautiful memories, the card games in the evenings, the riddles, the field work, the community life. Although I didn't speak my mother tongue, I was very happy to be able to share with the co-volunteers.
