Description of the program

In the heart of the Amazon, in the Yanachaga-Chemillen National Park, a rarely visited and isolated area, you will participate in running a nature reserve through this internship. You will experience this in a solar powered research camp, surrounded by tropical animals such as sloths, armadillos, pumas, jaguars, ocelots, capybaras, bears, monkeys, .... and close to indigenous communities such as the Ashaninka and Yanesha peoples.

You will work with a local association that works to conserve the environment. As with all of our environmental internship programs, the nature conservation project in Peru allows you to complete a year's worth of work while making a positive and lasting impact on the region.
