The NGO works with both local and international volunteers to build a supportive, inclusive, and responsible community. The organization believes that by learning to live together better and respecting others, we can have a positive impact on society. It strives to build and promote harmonious coexistence among residents of disadvantaged neighborhoods who increasingly face difficulties in accessing basic resources, low levels of education, and social and professional exclusion.
This program is available up to 24 weeks, contact us to know price and availability.
Housing is allocated by local NGOs, not by Freepackers - the descriptions are there to give you an idea of the type of accommodation, as it is very likely that conditions will vary on site depending on the number of volunteers, weather conditions, availability, etc. Each volunteer will be accommodated according to the stated conditions, but it is possible that the accommodation may not match the description or images shown on this site word for word, for example, in the case of annexed housing, renovations, relocations, etc.
You will be accommodated in a hostel, apartment, or hotel in Vallvidrera with other project volunteers. Mixed rooms are shared and include 3 to 5 bunk beds.
Washing machines are available with credit for one use per week.
All meals are included (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The meals are mainly vegetarian, with occasional meat options. In case of any food allergies or intolerances, please let us know.
A kitchen is available and ingredients are provided, so volunteers cook together.
You will be supervised by an on-site coordinator who will give you advice on the best places to visit in the city.
