Feedback: Sarah, a nurse interning in Cambodia, between care and cultural immersion

WHAT WERE THE ASSIGNED TASKS ON SITE?

My internship allowed me to observe nursing care in a different context. I also performed technical tasks such as blood draws and blood gas analyses, which helped me improve my skills.

WHAT THIS INTERNSHIP BROUGHT ME:

I learned new ways to perform medical procedures, but the experience went beyond care. I lived with a Cambodian family, discovering a rich and different culture, which truly enhanced my internship.

DO I RECOMMEND THIS PROJECT?

Yes, I highly recommend this mission to anyone wishing to discover medicine in another country and understand a different culture. It is an incredibly enriching experience.

...AND REALSTEP?

Realstep supported me throughout my experience, from preparation to my return. Their support was essential and reassuring.
