On the GVI Tenerife – Marine Biology project, my tasks included supervising activities, transcribing and organizing scientific data, preparing the equipment needed for research, and helping organize themed evenings to encourage team bonding. I also took part in training new arrivals, helping them integrate and supporting them with their daily tasks.

This experience brought me a lot, both professionally and personally. Professionally, I developed my skills in data organization and analysis, particularly through the use of Excel spreadsheets. Personally, I learned the importance of teamwork, tolerance, respect for community living, and kindness. This experience also strengthened my interest in ecology and environmental protection.
Yes, I would highly recommend this mission. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The research activities were extremely enriching, and living with people who shared the same passion made the experience even more special and motivating.
Yes, I would definitely recommend RealStep. The team supported me before my departure and throughout my first week on site. They continued checking in and following my experience, which made me feel supported and reassured from beginning to end.
