As an internal intern, I worked on a personal project which involved studying the impact of wastewater on terrestrial and marine ecosystems, as well as on human health around Krabi. At the same time, I was able to participate in all the NGO activities: compost management, reforestation, coral study, and animal protection.
This internship brought me a lot, both professionally and personally. I had the opportunity to lead an important project independently, which allowed me to develop my skills and contribute to the creation of new initiatives within the organization. This experience also allowed me to learn a great deal by sharing knowledge with the team.
On a personal level, traveling alone and stepping out of my comfort zone helped me grow. I met wonderful people and improved my English. The healthy environment and activities like yoga, climbing, and kayaking helped me better understand myself, to discover my limits and surpass them. This internship was an incredibly enriching experience, both mentally and physically.

The tasks focus on ecosystem protection, allowing you to explore various aspects of the subject. You will also receive courses to better understand ecosystems and their preservation. Awareness is essential, and I was delighted to learn more about the ecological challenges in Thailand. As an intern, you will be able to create and lead a personal project, which is both stimulating and educational. The topics are broad and varied, and the team is always there to support you and provide the necessary knowledge. This ecosystem protection program is exciting, and I am convinced that everyone who goes through Realstep will leave enriched, with new knowledge, a different culture, and an unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend Realstep. Traveling alone to take part in a program was a completely new experience for me, and at first, I didn’t know where to start. Realstep guided me every step of the way, helping me define what I wanted to do and how to go about it. Once I found the program that suited me, they took care of all the organization, assisting me especially with documents and logistics on site.
