Between care and discovery: Éléonore's nursing internship in Nepal

WHAT MISSIONS WERE ENTRUSTED TO US ON SITE?

My role was to work closely with the nurses to provide support to patients. This involved accompanying them through various medical procedures, including blood sampling, infusions and performing electrocardiograms (ECGs). In addition, I was also responsible for the administration of certain treatments, ensuring that patients received appropriate care and support throughout their medical journey.

WHAT THIS INTERNSHIP HAS GIVEN ME

I spent 10 unique weeks in Nepal. I'm extremely grateful to have been able to carry out my first internship of my 3rd year of nursing studies in a hospital in Kathmandu.

This internship gave me a lot both professionally and personally. It was a unique experience in my career, an opportunity I'm grateful to have had.

Meeting such a remarkable and touching people was very enriching. What's more, discovering breathtaking landscapes and experiencing unforgettable moments helped make this experience truly special for me.
