Pauline went to Canada to learn English, and came back bilingual with her head full of memories!

This gap year program in Canada was incredible and gave me so much more than just being bilingual. I learned to be 100% independent, assertive and open to the world. Although at first I was reluctant to talk to new people, I gradually let go and made some unforgettable encounters. The memories I have of this experience will always be engraved in my mind, I'm sure.

If I had to choose one memory...

It's very complicated to choose which of my memories are the best, but I'd start with the sunsets on the beach that we went to see every weekend with the friends I'd made at school; it's the best way to meet even more people. Then there was the weekend we spent on Vancouver Island. Despite the health situation, we were able to go to Victoria and Tofino for 4 days and it was really worth it. I already miss the sightseeing days and evenings when everyone got together...

If I had to rate my experience...

  • Pre-departure information: 4/5
  • Registration process: 5/5
  • School / Facilities : 4/5
  • Teachers, quality of teaching: 5/5
  • Residential accommodation: 4/5

If I had to recommend this project...

I would totally recommend it because I could clearly see my progress and meet incredible people and teachers. I would also recommend RealStep because the registration process was much easier and everything necessary to obtain a study permit was taken care of. In addition to great friendliness and involvement.
