Animals

Take action for the conservation of species!

Professional experience in the animal sector

Many projects concern animals, and offer professional experiences within NGOs acting for their protection. Participating in such a mission is an opportunity to develop real skills in the animal field. Whether you want to work with wildlife, domestic animals or just discover humanitarianism through this protection challenge, these projects are an opportunity to learn more about local communities, host structures and wildlife.

You will have the opportunity to experience an international NGO and learn all the skills needed to work with animals. Community outreach is also part of the program. This allows you to develop different skills, and to practice the English language (or Spanish in Latin America). More and more of you are looking for humanitarian missions as part of your training, to combine studies and practical learning that makes sense.

Give meaning to your career by gaining a first experience in an NGO while contributing to animal protection!

International experience

Our animal projects are spread over all continents, and thus have a positive impact on the preservation of various wild and domestic species. Whether in Europe, Africa or Oceania, several projects focus on animal protection and allow you to acquire cross-disciplinary skills. To train on one of these projects is therefore to benefit from an international professional experience, in the field. You will discover the functioning of our partner structures directly on site, and integrate a multicultural team of specialists who will share their knowledge and experience with you.

The different categories of animal project training:

  • Animal care
  • Farm Experience
  • Research and observations
  • Marine Conservation
  • Veterinary

The different types of animal projects

We find animal programs in all the courses that RealStep offers. The skills acquired are not the same, as well as the experiences lived and the missions entrusted, but all of them take place with animals.

Initiation course

The introductory course includes animal projects in NGOs. It is ideal for a first experience in humanitarian work, as well as when you are still a student or when you want to acquire new experiences, during a reconversion for example.

Approved internships

Doing an animal project as part of an internship is the best way to get a practical experience, learning transversal skills and bringing your own knowledge to the project. Studying and continuing to train, giving a meaning to your career, this is exactly what RealStep internships offer.

Professional training

With a minimum duration of 6 months, the professional training courses with animals offer a solid contribution to the humanitarian field, particularly in animal protection. These international trainings are ideal for starting a career in humanitarian work, thanks to a thorough accompaniment and follow-up before, during and even after the mission.
