This program is perfectly suited for a gap year or an student internship. You will enjoy a full immersion in the country while gaining practical experience to improve your English.
You will be able to join one of the establishments of a partner hotel group in the city of Brisbane. This experience is an excellent way to start in the industry and gain real hands-on experience of at least 3 months in an international environment.

The program begins with a one-week training period. This time allows you to understand expectations, get familiar with the surroundings, and most importantly, gain practical experience in the daily tasks you’ll be performing. During this week, you will learn many skills across various professions in the hospitality and catering sectors. The goal is to introduce you to all the job opportunities you can apply for.
This week may include training to obtain the RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Food Handling certificates if required.
Once this stage is completed, a job in one of the partner establishments will be offered to you according to your skills. There are many different types of positions available.
You will therefore quickly find a job on-site for the remainder of your program.

The positions offered in hospitality and catering cover a wide range. You can choose to develop your skills and experience in the following areas:

The tasks are very diverse and depend on your skill level, experience, and motivation. The positions available will also depend on local needs and the results of your training week.
Paid positions generally start at $30 per hour in the city for a full-time schedule of 35 to 38 hours.

After the first week, the local organization will offer you several job opportunities matching your skills and goals. You’ll apply, go through a standard recruitment process, and once your application is approved, your adventure can begin!

3. Ongoing Support
A support service will be available in the background throughout your stay, offering other job opportunities if needed, whenever you require them. This may incur additional costs.
The organization is a family-run company based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Their goal is to offer young people a safe pathway to achieve their professional, travel, and personal development goals during their stay in Australia.

Accommodation is included only for the first week of training at the hotel hosting the training session. Afterwards, it is possible to stay in a hostel for a rate of $40 to $50 per night.
Meals are not included in the program.
