You can carry out your veterinary internship in several European countries such as Portugal (Lisbon, Porto), Spain (Barcelona), Italy (Rome), Greece (Athens), and Croatia (Split).

Your tasks as an intern

You will take part in various missions with two objectives: to train you as much as possible and to support the proper functioning of the host organization.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Following and discussing clinical cases
  • Supporting and observing consultations
  • Assisting in soft tissue surgeries
  • Supporting treatments (e.g., blood sampling, bandaging, IV therapies)

Conditions and tasks may vary depending on the destination. Internship durations range from 1 to 9 months.

Sample schedule
