Travel to Krabi, Thailand, to complete your nursing internship in a local clinic. Join a team of professionals to observe and assist them in their daily tasks. You’ll gain hands-on experience in patient care while fully immersing yourself in the country.
The dispensary is located in southern Thailand, specifically in the sub-district of Ban Laem Sak, in the Ao Luek district, in the province of Krabi. Six villages with a total population of around 6,782 inhabitants depend on the hospital. Its mission is to implement the policies of the Ministry of Public Health.

You will join the team and support them in their daily work. You may be asked to carry out the following tasks:

The most common treatments you will encounter include: diabetes, strokes, heart diseases, road accidents, and fishing accidents (as the area is near the sea). Emergencies, maternity, and surgery are also common situations.
You will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments of the dispensary (medical, paramedical, pharmacy, local medicine).

Optional activities are offered by local doctors, such as workshops on traditional Thai-Chinese medicine, learning acupuncture, Thai herbs, aromatherapy, and massage techniques.

You will work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., totaling 7 hours per day, 4 days per week, leaving you free time to explore the surroundings and enjoy the country. Tasks and schedules are flexible, as the goal of the internship is to encourage sharing and provide a rich cultural exchange between interns and supervisors.
During the day, your tasks include welcoming patients, providing care, and following up with them.
Interns are supervised during working days and fully independent outside working hours.

You will be accommodated in a house with other participants in a shared room. The accommodation is located about 1 km from the dispensary, 2 minutes by bike and 5–10 minutes on foot.
Wi-Fi is available. Laundry service is available at a cost of 50 baht per kilogram.
